In this year's Fur Rondy Melodrama, we travel back in time to an early 1900s gold rush community, where the U.S. military is the only protection against lawless rapscallions, the local roadhouse is the only place to hang out for safety and entertainment, and the only connection to the outside world is the Western-Alaska Military Cable and Telegraph System (WAMCATS) ... if it can ever be completed! The beloved Fur Rondy Melodrama, featuring voices of the Alaska Sound Celebration chorus, returns live on stage this year!
