Cancellation Announcement

Sent Friday, May 18, 2018

Dear Friends and Supporters,

Today we made the tough decision to cancel the Alaska dates for the world premiere of Snow Child.

Perseverance Theatre stands by its reputation to create professional, high-quality theatre productions. Unfortunately, at this time, we are unable to meet the logistical needs this beautiful production deserves in order to stay true to our mission and the vision of the show.

We regret we couldn’t successfully bring Snow Child to Alaska this season and will look for other ways to share this adaptation of Eowyn Ivey’s novel with Alaskans in the future.

Thank you for purchasing a ticket early. We can offer you these options:

Convert your ticket purchase to a tax-deductible donation that we will use to further develop our fabulous 40th anniversary season.

Refund your ticket.

Both of these can be done through Centertix either by calling 907-263-2787 or by visiting their box office at the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, 621 w Sixth Ave in Anchorage.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this change of plans.

Thank you so much for your continued support of theatre by and for Alaskans.
