28th Annual Melodrama - Hope Springs Eternal (or The Dirty Deed)

2018 Melodrama - Hope Springs Eternal (or The Dirty Deed)

February 23rd through March 10th

Who will prevail as the owner of Brrrr, Alaska at the 28th Annual Melodrama “Hope Springs Eternal (or The Dirty Deed)?”

Get ready to be whisked away to the 1930s and the Hope Springs Eating Establishment run by Nellie McGee and her daughters, Sue and Molly. There are new faces in town with the arrival of Jack Barnes and Johnny B Goode as our heroine Sue McGee learns she has inherited the town of Brrrr, Alaska. The villain is out to steal the deed and the town for himself. Will Sherriff Rose and the others be able to thwart his evil plan? Will our heroine win the town? Will the hero win someone’s heart? Find out the answers to these questions and more as you join the award-winning Alaska Sound Celebration Chorus for a knee-slapping good time at the 28th Annual Melodrama, Hope Springs Eternal (or The Dirty Deed). Throw popcorn, clap and cheer, hiss and boo at our zany crew as they sing and dance their way directly into your funny bone.

Fur Rondy Melodrama - Hope Springs Eternal (or The Dirty Deed) is presented by Alaska Sound Celebration.
