Young Alaskan Artist Award Gala Reunion Concert

Young Alaskan Artist Award Gala Reunion Concert

Young Alaskan Artist Award Gala Reunion Concert

July 27th

Celebrating Young Alaskan Artists

Since 1999, the Anchorage Festival of Music has sponsored the annual Young Alaskan Artist Award competition to recognize young, aspiring Alaskan classical performers entering the professional field. Past winners are making waves nationally and internationally as performers and educators. This summer, they’re coming home! Find out what these amazing musicians have been doing since winning the YAA and hear eight prior winners perform in a magical evening of music celebrating 20 years of this prestigious award.

To mark the 20th anniversary of the award in 2018 and in recognition of the many connections to the late Senator Stevens, the Anchorage Festival of Music is proud to re-name the award as the Ted Stevens Young Alaskan Artist Award. The award will be formally re-named and the first winner of the newly named award will be announced during the gala concert.
