American author and radio host Tom Bodett hosts True Stories About Home. Returning to the Mariner Auditorium stage in Homer, Alaska where he launched his storytelling career over 30 years ago, former Homeroid, Tom Bodett hosts an evening of storytelling on the theme of Home, with special guests from National Public Radio.
“Home is the place where, when you have to go there, they have to take you in,” according to the Bard of Vermont, Robert Frost. After living 16 years in Vermont, Tom Bodett hopes Homer will take him in even if they don’t have to. He brings with him from the Lower 48, Moth star and story coach Peter Aguero who will also direct the event. Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me!” producer and creator of the Everything Is Alive podcast, Ian Chillag also joins Bodett, along with Dameon Wilburn from Detroit and Alaska Native Daughter Marjorie Tahbone
