Spring Acupuncture & Wellness Event
April 18th
Are you fatigued?
Feeling stressed?
Have you noticed changes in your physical and/or mental wellbeing?
It’s time to Center yourself.
The Alaska Center for the Performing Arts, Snow Blossom Acupuncture LLC – Wellness & Float Center and Live Breathe Alaska have partnered together to provide the benefits of Acupuncture & Qigong to Alaskans.
This donation–based Community Health Trauma Clinic includes group auricular acupuncture treatments & Qigong geared specifically towards helping our community heal.
Acupuncture is a medicine that has been used for thousands of years and is utilized by all ages throughout the world. Acupuncture can help in resetting the nervous system which strengthens the parasympathetic response so the body can naturally heal.
The style of acupuncture that will be used is called auricular acupuncture (ear acupuncture). We image the body within the ear, creating a microsystem of our body. We use sterile, single–use acupuncture needles which are placed onto specific points on the ear to affect the mental & physical body as a systemic & holistic approach to healing.
Sessions are available at the following times, and each session will accommodate 45 patients. Purchasing tickets to reserve your spot are highly encouraged & are available through Centertix (http://tickets.centertix.com/Acupuncture). Walk–in appointments will be limited to the remaining number of non–reserved seats.
- 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.
- 12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- 2 p.m. – 3 p.m.
In addition to on–site acupuncture services, Snow Blossom Acupuncture LLC will be hosting an instructor–led Qigong session from 12:30 p.m. – 1:00 p.m. Qigong is an exercise that coordinates breathing and simple body movements. Space is limited.
This is a FREE Community Acupuncture Wellness Clinic and is part of the PAC Wellness Series; however, donations of any amount are appreciated online (www.alaskapac.org/donate) and at the event. Donations support future community programming at the PAC.
