Cherish the Ladies

Cherish the Ladies

Celebrating an incredible 40 years, Cherish the Ladies stand among the most acclaimed Irish ensembles of all time, but it’s their families’ opinions they hold dear. The astonishing virtuosos of the Grammy-nominated, all-female collective learned rich Irish music traditions from their fathers and forged a path for women in the male-only genre.

Led by the magnetic Joanie Madden, the Ladies bring an exhilarating blend of instrumental brilliance, breathtaking vocals, and stunning Irish step dancing. With 18 albums and thousands of performances—from concert halls to the Olympics—they’ve enchanted fans and critics alike with their extraordinary talent and charming humor.

No matter where they go, Cherish the Ladies continues to inspire new generations—and the jig is far from up.

PRE-SHOW TALK

Before the show starts, there will be a conversation and Q&A with Cherish the Ladies’ Joanie Madden, hosted by Kate O’Dell and Peggy Monaghan of the Irish Club, from 6:30–7:00 pm. The event will take place inside the theatre and is free for all ticket holders.

Pre-show talks invite audiences to step into the world of the performance by learning more about the artist, the music, and Irish culture. These conversations share stories and insights that bring the traditions behind the music to life.
