Binge on Bach
September 28th through September 29th
Johann Sebastian Bach (1685-1750) did not travel geographically far in life, but his musical imagination and mystique continue to inspire and move us. Experience the depth and emotional range of Bach performed on the instruments of his day by Alaska’s finest baroque interpreters. Anchorage Festival of Music is thrilled to welcome Anchorage-born soprano and early music specialist Victoria Fraser for a second consecutive season. AFM’s baroque concerts always sell out, and this year’s magnificent Brandenburg Concerto No. 5 and a stunning array of vocal and instrumental works will literally fill the house.
